This film shows some more scenes of the New York City Subway system.

Originally, this film was only intended as a short test of the Benro A48FDS4 monopod at Vernon Blvd/Jackson Ave station. But then I came across two more interesting locations.

First, at Times Square–42 St station there is a spot (close to the platform of the (S) train) where one can look into the tunnel of the IRT 7 Ave line.

And second, the film shows the old South Ferry loop station. This station was actually replaced by a new one with straight platforms, however, it got severely damaged during hurricane Sandy, so they had to put the old loop station back into operation. The radius of the loop is so small that there are moving platforms (“gap fillers”) that bridge the gap between the platform and the train.

Wilshire/Western bound 1998 Breda A650 Purple Line coming from Wilshire/Vermont Station and now entering at Wilshire/Normandie Station.

Then Wilshire/Western bound Purple Line leaving Wilshire/Normandie Station heading towards Wilshire/Western as it's next and last station stop.

Note: The Purple Line will soon be extended along via Wilshire to Beverly Hills I believe not 100% sure but it will be extended.

Note: The Blue, Expo, Green, & Gold Lines are Light rails.
Orange & Silver Lines are Rapid Buses.
Red & Purple Lines are the only lines that Subway Trains in L.A.

No Red Line at this station.
