🥚 15th APRIL: 2nd EGG at 09:40

* Chick 2 has sadly died in the nest on 22nd May due to accidental suffocation at 8 hours old.

The railway to Machynlleth will be closed from 15 May to Monday 28 June 2021 due to essential maintenance.

Da die Küken in Dortmund ausgeflogen sind, habe ich den Stream aus dem Nistkasten unserer Firma nun hier aufgeschaltet. In Dortmund flogen 2/8 Küken aus. Gerettet durch Zufütterung da es kaum Insekten gab wodurch 6 starben zuvor...

Die Küken hier werden von beiden Eltern gefüttert und es gab bisher erst einen Ausfall mti 1 gestorbenen Küken. Da hier genug Insekten verfügbar sind, ist keine Zufütterung erforderlich derzeit. Es wurden 8 Eier gelegt und die sind am 07. Mai geschlüpft. Um den 25.05. werden auch hier die Küken das Nest verlassen. Bis dahin sehen wir hoffentlich noch viele spannende Szenen.

The chicks at Dortmund leave the nest and i have switched here to the other nest box a our company at Siegen. The chicks hatched on May 7. th and getting fed by both parents. Here is no additional feeding requiered, because they find here more food than in Dortmund 2 Weeks ago. They will fly out maybe on May 25. I think, we wil see some interesting scenes too.

Willkommen im Sonnigen Süden Windsbachs.
2020 hat Brut und Aufzucht gut geklappt bei meinen Turmfalken Gästen.
Inzwischen sind sie liebgewonnene Untermieter hier bei mir.

In Sichtweite der Fränkischen Rezat und ihrer Auen gibt es reichlich Beute für die TF.
Ich freu mich auf eine erfolgreiche Brutsaison 2021.
