In this video, you can enjoy a cab ride – train driver’s view – in 4K/60 frames per second, traveling between Županja and Osijek via Vinkovci in eastern Croatia.

The journey begins at Županja station, a small town in the Croatian part of the historic Sirmium (Srijem) region, on the shores of river Sava and the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The train travels north to Vinkovci, a city with 2000 years of history, founded by Romans as Cibalae at the time of Emperor Hadrian. Vinkovci are a major railway junction, on the pan-European TEN-T corridor between east and west, connecting Zagreb and Belgrade, with a connection to the nearby Danube port city of Vukovar. In Vinkovci, we change trains for a local service to Osijek that takes us north through the plains of eastern Slavonia. We finish our trip in Osijek, 4th largest city in Croatia and the largest city in the Slavonia region, a vibrant city with a rich 2000-year cultural heritage.
